Begin Again

Welcome to the new Love, Jenise La Vonne blog.

I am beginning again on this new platform and in this new space because:

1. I want to. I've been learning to really pour into me by investing in the things and people that fill my cup. Writing is something that I have always loved doing and that has always filled my cup.

2. I went to log into my old blog and found out that because I forgot to renew my hosting the server deleted all of my content. 🤷🏾‍♀️ In another space and time I would have flipped out and probably cried, but today I just feel like doing what I love. I realize that the "secret sauce" in my last blog was ME! Not the hosting or the web design, but me. My mind, my emotions, my ideas, and my courage to share. So instead of having a meltdown for losing my words, today I just decided to share some new ones.

I take full responsibility for forgetting to renew the hosting.

I wasn't consistent on the blog anyway, but this has certainly taught me a valuable lesson in ownership. Switching to this platform allows me to own my words, that means, even if I forget to renew my hosting, all of my content won't be deleted and irretrievably trapped into the online abyss.

So here I am, beginning again knowing that it's all on me.

🌸I own these words and no one can take them away from me.

🌸I will always come back to the things (like writing) that make me happy and fill my cup.

I hope that my courage to begin again sparks a flame in you to keep trying, invest in things that fill your cup and gives you the courage to start, or restart whatever Yah has called you to or whatever your heart yearns for.
